Worlds 2026 daily update, 30 October: Top Esports reach the quarter-finals as Karmine Corp stay alive

As of 30 October 2026. Top Esports are the fifth team into the Worlds quarter-finals. They lost the first game to Bilibili Gaming on Thursday night in Allen, Texas, then won the next two to take the series 2–1. Earlier, Karmine Corp swept CTBC Flying Oyster 2–0, which sends the Pacific side home and keeps the LEC team alive at 2–2. Tonight’s two series haven’t been played yet, so their results aren’t in this update.

Last night’s results (Thursday 29 October)

Match	Result	What it means
Karmine Corp vs CTBC Flying Oyster	Karmine Corp win 2–0	KC move to 2–2, CFO eliminated at 1–3
Top Esports vs Bilibili Gaming	Top Esports win 2–1	TES qualify at 3–1, BLG fall to 2–2

Karmine Corp 2–0 CTBC Flying Oyster. Game one was one-way traffic, with KC winning in under 28 minutes, 19 kills to 3, without losing a tower. Game two was far tougher. CFO built a gold lead around their Caitlyn and went on to take the Dragon Soul, and the game was held up by a series of long technical pauses that the reports put at close to half an hour in total. When play got going again, KC’s divers kept reaching CFO’s backline, took Baron and won the fight around the Elder Dragon to close it out.

Top Esports 2–1 Bilibili Gaming. BLG, the LPL’s second seed, looked in control after a dominant first game. Game two was close for a long time, but Top Esports’ team scaled better, took the only Baron and levelled the series. The decider was a stomp, with TES winning 17 kills to 3. They reach the last eight even without their usual starting top laner, and the LPL now has two teams in the quarter-finals.

Tonight’s matches (Friday 30 October)

The second series is listed for 23:00 UK time, but both of the last two nights’ late series started early once the first one finished, so it’s worth tuning in a little before. North America’s clocks go back on Sunday 1 November, so the UK is four hours ahead of US East Coast time until then.

Team Liquid Alienware vs LOS. Both teams started 0–2 and won elimination series on Monday to get here. The winner moves to 2–2 and plays again on Saturday; the loser goes home.

G2 Esports vs Hanwha Life Esports. The biggest elimination match of the Swiss Stage so far. Hanwha Life are this year’s MSI champions and G2 are one of Europe’s best-known teams, but one of them will be out of Worlds by the end of the night.
