Cyber Monday 2026 for gamers: digital games, console stores and streaming deals

Cyber Monday is 30 November 2026. How to plan for digital game sales, console store deals and streaming offers worldwide – with no prices, and links to the gear Black Friday guide.

Topic note: we already covered Black Friday 2026 gaming and streaming gear (headsets, mice, mics and the like). This post is the digital side of the same week: game storefronts, console library sales and streaming offers.

Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November. Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November. Both follow US Thanksgiving on Thursday 26 November. In many countries the labels blur into a longer “Black November” or BFCM weekend, and the exact retailers, catalogues and dates vary by country – treat this as a worldwide planning guide, not a shopping list.

Heads up: the product guides linked below are on What2Buy, our sister UK buying-guide site. Its picks and retailer links are aimed at UK shoppers; if you’re elsewhere, use them for ideas and check what’s sold locally. Binge Bulletin doesn’t list products or prices. See our disclosure.

What Cyber Monday is good for (vs Black Friday gear day)

Cyber Monday started as the online-heavy follow-up to Black Friday. For fans, that usually means:

  • Digital games on Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox / Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop and Epic
  • Console and PC library sales (back-catalogue titles, season passes, DLC)
  • Streaming and game-subscription offers that sometimes appear around the same weekend

Physical kit – headsets, controllers, capture cards – is covered in the Black Friday gear post. If you still need a shortlist for hardware, What2Buy’s Black Friday gaming deals and gaming deals hub are the place to look (UK).

Digital games: the storefront calendar

Steam

Valve’s Autumn Sale 2026 has already run (1–8 October, per Steamworks). The next big confirmed seasonal event is the Steam Winter Sale: 17 December 2026 to 4 January 2027, starting at 10:00 Pacific. That is after Cyber Monday, so do not wait until 30 November for Steam’s winter event – and do not assume a separate Steam “Cyber Monday” sale will appear. Smaller themed sales sometimes fill the gap; those are announced closer to the time and are unconfirmed for late November 2026 as of this check.

PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo storefronts

Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo typically run console-store promotions through November and into December in many regions. Exact start dates, which titles are included and whether a “Cyber Monday” label is used vary by country and are not fully listed this far ahead. Check your regional store the week before 27 November rather than trusting a single global calendar.

Epic and other PC storefronts

Epic and other PC shops often discount around the same US holiday weekend. Again, catalogues differ by storefront and region; treat any early “leaked” lists as unconfirmed until the store itself shows them.

Streaming and subscription deals

Streaming video and game subscriptions (Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, Netflix, Disney+, Crunchyroll and similar) sometimes run seasonal offers around BFCM. Availability, trial length and whether an offer exists at all vary by country. We are not listing prices. For how the main services compare before you commit, see our streaming services compared 2026 guide and the best free streaming services for winter round-up.

Consoles and accessories (pointing, not repeating)

If the sale week is when you finally upgrade a controller or add storage, shortlist first:

Then compare against the plan in the Black Friday gear post.

A simple worldwide plan

  1. Write the wishlist before the sales start – games you already wanted, not whatever a banner shouts.
  2. Check price history where a tracker exists in your country; “was” prices get inflated everywhere.
  3. Mind the clocks and delivery. US clocks go back on 1 November 2026; the UK and Europe already went back on 25 October. Digital purchases are instant; physical gifts still need postage time if they have to arrive by a date.
  4. Don’t skip the Winter Sale window. For Steam at least, mid-December is the next confirmed major PC sale after autumn.
  5. Region-lock and catalogue differences are real. A deal on a US store page may not appear on the UK, AU or JP store, and vice versa.
