Europe’s clocks have gone back but North America’s don’t change until 1 November, so the UK is four hours ahead of US East Coast time this week. What to watch for

Movistar KOI vs T1. The three-time defending champions lost to Dplus KIA in Round 2, then beat CTBC Flying Oyster on Monday, a game in which Keria broke the all-time record for assists at Worlds. KOI started the event with wins over Bilibili Gaming and CTBC Flying Oyster before Dplus KIA beat them 2–0. T1 go in as clear favourites, but KOI have already beaten an LPL top team at this event.

LYON vs Invictus Gaming. This could be the closer of the two. LYON beat Team Secret Whales and Karmine Corp, then took a game off Gen.G on Sunday, which no other team has managed at this Worlds. Invictus Gaming lost their opener to Gen.G, then won comfortably against Team Secret Whales and Hanwha Life Esports. LYON are one of two North American teams still alive, along with Team Liquid Alienware, so a win would put the LCS in the quarter-finals.
