Worlds 2026 daily update, 27 October: T1 and BLG win, Anyone's Legend and Team Secret Whales go home

As of 27 October 2026. The first two teams are out of Worlds, and both were their region’s top seed. Anyone’s Legend and Team Secret Whales finished the Swiss Stage at 0–3 on Monday, while T1 and Bilibili Gaming won their best-of-ones to move a step closer to the quarter-finals. Today is a rest day, so here’s where everything stands and the full Round 4 schedule. Nothing from Round 4 has been played yet.

Monday’s results (26 October)

Round 3, best-of-one (1–1 teams):

• T1 1–0 CTBC Flying Oyster. CTBC’s Doggo had a strong start on Kai’Sa and CFO led on gold, but T1’s lockdown-heavy team, with Oner on Vi, won the mid-game fights and closed it out. The three-time defending champions move to 2–1.
• Bilibili Gaming 1–0 Karmine Corp. A slow, careful game that was level for 20 minutes. A misstep around dragon handed BLG the lead, and Viper’s Kai’Sa did the rest. Karmine Corp, who won the Play-In, drop to 1–2 after two straight losses.

Round 3, best-of-three elimination series (0–2 teams):

• LOS 2–0 Team Secret Whales. Brazil’s first series win of the Swiss Stage. TSW led early in game one before LOS turned it around in a Baron fight after about 40 minutes, then controlled game two. The LCP’s top seed are out.
• Team Liquid Alienware 2–0 Anyone’s Legend. The biggest upset of the event so far. Liquid won game one comfortably and held on in a much closer game two, with Yeon’s Xayah a standout. The LPL champions leave Worlds without a win. Reports say AL were also without their assistant coach, who couldn’t get a visa to travel to the US.

The standings after Round 3

Round 4: Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 October (not yet played)

Every match from here is a best-of-three. The three winners from the 2–1 series reach the quarter-finals, and the three losers from the 1–2 series are eliminated. Europe’s clocks have gone back but North America’s don’t change until 1 November, so the UK is four hours ahead of US East Coast time this week. The second series each day starts at 23:00 UK time, or later if the first one runs long.

What to watch for:

• Movistar KOI vs T1 opens Round 4. KOI were 2–0 before Dplus KIA beat them on Saturday, and T1 have won two of three. The winner is in the quarter-finals.
• Top Esports vs Bilibili Gaming is an all-LPL series with a quarter-final place on the line, so at least one Chinese team is guaranteed to reach the last eight.
• Hanwha Life Esports vs G2 Esports sends one big name home. Hanwha Life are the MSI 2026 champions and G2 were the LEC’s top seed, and both have lost two in a row.

What comes next

Round 5, for the six teams still on 2–2, is on Saturday 31 October, and the quarter-final draw takes place the same day. The Knockout Stage starts on 3 November in Allen, Texas, and the final is in Brooklyn, New York, on Saturday 14 November.
