Best Switch 2 accessories for the new Ocarina of Time

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time arrives on Switch 2 this Thursday (5 November). Here’s what actually helps for a long evening session. Full buying guides live on our sister site What2Buy, a UK guide site – its picks and prices are for UK shoppers, so if you’re elsewhere use them for ideas and buy locally. Binge Bulletin doesn’t list products or prices itself. Disclosure.

What to sort before Thursday

• A comfortable grip or protective case for handheld play. See What2Buy’s best Switch 2 accessories under £20 for screen protectors, carrying cases, charging grips and thumb grips grouped by job.
• Decent headphones (or simple desk speakers if you’re docking). What2Buy’s gaming audio hub points at its live audio guides, including PS5 headsets under £50 (many of those also work over a 3.5mm jack with other consoles – check compatibility) and PC speakers for a desk setup if you’d rather not wear cans.
• Basic cable management and a stand if you’re playing on the TV. A tidy dock setup is easier to leave up for a multi-hour Hyrule session; What2Buy’s cable-management guide covers trays, sleeves and clips.
• A small desk mat so the Joy-Cons don’t slide when you’re playing tabletop-style. The Switch 2 accessories guide above is the place to start for related desk bits.
